You know how we have phrases like, "Their spirit/soul has left their body and they are no longer here"? Except in the next breath, we say, "But they're still with us."

What's actually happening here?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Entertain the idea that your soul/spirit (or whatever word feels natural to you) isn't INSIDE your body; it's wrapped AROUND your body like a nice lil hug. And this body isn't really "yours" — it's just the mammal that you have attached to for this life.

We're here to embody this sophisticated mammal so with it we can have a Human Experience. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When the body we're attached to dies, we DETACH from it. The body needs to be alive in order to be embodied with our energy. But our energy doesn't just immediately disintegrate or dissolve when the body we're attached to dies. We're just no longer embodied.

Our energy is a little like a cloak; we wrap around a body and we have different areas on us — different energy centres — that act like identifiers so Other Spirits can recognize us. In the areas we are energetically defined, Others can get a sense for us.

Historically, I've thought my energy was inside of this body, but I'm really just here HUGGING this AMAZING body! When I’m not hugging it, I’m not living. And when I really sit with that, it seems so silly to be harsh or judgemental with this incredible mammal that's letting me experience Life; that's letting me exchange wisdoms with every other cloak here.
