fenomenu nesaprotošs
Noskatījos beidzot to "Control" un nonācu pie secinājuma, ka nudien nesaprotu Joy Division un, it sevišķi, Iana Kērtisa fenomenu. Lai man tagad piedod visi Joy Division cienītāji (un cibā tādu ir, pārdon, dahuja), bet vot nē un viss. Viņi ir jauki, attiecīgā garastāvoklī ļoti pat klausāmi un dejojami, bet pie tā arī paliekam. Par Bobu Dilanu neizteikšos (arī viņu šeit ļoti ciena, varbūt pat vairāk nekā Joy Division). Es varbūt esmu vienīgā, kas vienkārši nesaprot viņa mūziku, es pat teiktu, ka tā mani kaitina (un tāpēc man pietika ar pirmajām 15 min no "I'm not there", lai saprastu, ka ilgāk es to neskatīšos).
Un ja man būtu jāizvēlas starp abiem, tad es laikam ņemtu Joy Division. Pie viņiem vismaz var kratīties.

Simplicity, many people think,
is an end in itself

Simplicity is the path, the means

somewhere in the future
