Yangon, Myanmar (Rangoon, Burma)

Michael told Justin, Luna and I a great story about his friend getting a beard trimming on a random Yangon alley. He had been on the road for a long time and needed a haircut as well as beardicure. Using sign language he pointed at a man getting trimmed up who had a heartily lathered beard. He sat down, endured the trimming and was enjoying the warm lather, what he thought was a beard wash. After the lather was rinsed out and he paid it soon became apparent something was askew. All of the men with Henna-dyed beards were very impressed with his newly manscaped hair. Once he had a look in the mirror he realized why, the lather was not a wash at all, it was the henna dying process which turned his beard a vibrant color of orange just like the gentleman pictured above. He was the talk of the town. Someday I'm going to give henna-dying a try.
