pēc tā, kā tikko uzvedos uz jūrmalas šosejas, man būtu jābrauc visu nakti pa visām latvijas ielām. bet neviens negrib braukt līdzi, bail visiem, kā tad lai es braucu ar tādu sevi. |

The sight of that splendid animal, with the sun on his red coat, his great presence there in the forest, had moved her in a way she couldn’t really explain. She said that she understood why the Indians talked to it, apologized to it even though they needed to kill it and were pleased they had done so. The killing was necessary, and yet some sort of acknowledgement had to be made, the recognition that a fellow creature had been sacrificed to that necessity.
