And, one, there is nothing to us besides of what we make in and of this world, and two, the conceptual "geometry" of human values really does have a complex but seemingly well-formed set of edges against which one's actions will fold - or break. Meaning and value are not predefined things outside our minds but just as well not all of them are created equal.
