| | - | ] | just got inappropriately mad at mum for insulting one of my almanac movies. maybe some people might think it stupid - because it's just a movie, but for me watching a movie as well as reading a book is like getting new ideas and opinions.. [almanac movies - are the movies that changed me or the way i thought and lived on - so insulting them is insulting me]. i mean it - reading a book can change your life. yeah, for example - you can read 'the catcher in the rye' and go and kill john lennon.. |

which movie it was, if it's not confidential? [and that example is really great. especially if you present it to your mom.]

movie that taught me this: - Well, we have talked about it, but that's what they say. - That's what they say, huh? - Yes, that's what they say. - I've always wondered this. Who are "they"? - You know, "them." - "Them." - The inimitable collective "them." - And who says we're supposed to listen to them? - They do!'
