Nippon no otosan Hello v.r.! Rotary Club members are visiting our campus to deepen friendship with you . They should be called "Nippon no otosan" because most of them are otosan, fathers, and they are the generation who contributed to boost the Japanese economy. They wish to make friends with you and invite you to their homes if possible in the future. At the party, freshly made sushi will be served directly from a professional sushi chef. hello! A bag of grocery shoppping from Yamashiroya is missing. It was put into the Pantry's common frig on May 6 (Tue), early evening, by one who bought it. And it's gone by the following noon. Hi guys! I was talking with the office today and they told me kindly I really have to move out at some point since I am not a student anymore. So since I finally solved all my visa problems, I decided that the faster might also be the better. Plus we're getting to the time of the year where I should start to buy tomatoe plants, basil and other herbs for cooking so I'd rather put those directly on the window of a new house than take them along when I move out. I'd like to move out asap and since I'm very likely to leave japan in october I don't really feel like paying reikin shikikin and so on...depends on the rent. I'll be going to fudousan from tomorrow on, but if anyone knows of someone moving out-needing roomate or anything interesting just let me know. Since the office is definitely not threatening me of anything, the faster the better BUT no stress. |

Hi guys! I was just reminded that our friend Vadim is getting married soon. Of course a japanese wedding is very expensive, so he couldn't invite all his friends, not even talking about those among us who are not in Japan anymore. Nevertheless, I know he loves us all the way we love him, so wouldn't it be nice to send him a special message to him on this very special day ? I know the idea is neither very new nor original, but I believe you'll know how to be creative enough to make something great. So make a short video-message (with digicame for example) for Vadim and Hideko, and if you have a few interesting pictures of Vadim/Hideko (with or without you) don't hesitate to send them as well. Since I will have technical support from Thibaut, I am sure something nice will come out. For those living far far away, your message should be short enough to be sent by e-mail to me. We'd like to collect everything by the 20th of march....but first let me know if you're in! We have some events like BBQ party, Skiing party, Beach party, Hiking party, Cultural exchange party, Tea ceremony party, and so on.
