"With 2 years of existence DAGGERS is a relative young band, yet they know what they are aiming for. Each show more souls gather at these intense live performances and Daggers have already proven to be one of the most promising Belgian hardcore bands of the moment. After their first collaboration with Ben Philips they now recorded their first full length with him. This new record turned out to be also an uncompromising and pitch black piece of dark thoughts. It will tear down all false hope the world is feeding on. “Along the Acheron” will be released on the mighty Anchors Aweigh Records. With this release the band is ready to take the next step up, a life dedicated to being on the road throughout Europe. "Originally started as a side-project in 2008 and playing shows since early 2009, AT DAGGERS DRAWN is a young but already experienced hardcore band from berlin with a wide range of influences in many different styles of music. We recorded our first demo in late 2008 and decided to distribute it for free to spread the word about issues that should not go unmentioned. Our plans for the near future are touring through spain/france/portugal with TACKLEBERRY this winter and recording an ambitious full length record in the beginning of 2010. We are sick of a world which is flooded by sexism, racism, homophobia and any kind of unreflected bullshit! There is plenty more to say about topics like these, but this is meant as a must-have statement in times where this scene becomes an anonymous playground for stupid and inhuman ideas. If we are not able to respect any person equally, there is no connection and nothing that can make this subculture a wall against all the shit that happens in this world every day!"
