Daži darbi atgādina noteiktu Jāņa Pauļuka daiļrades posmu, citi – Jāni Osi vai Eduardu Kalniņu, daži ir teju gaumīgi, vienā pat mazliet kā Pītera Doiga noskaņa. Viss kopā gan īsti neturas citādi, kā ar dabas smeldzi. Šķiet, Močuļska kameo šeit ir dot nosaukumu izstādei – patiesi vīrišķīgs uzdevums.
Some works are reminiscent of a certain period of Jānis Pauļuks’ career, others – of Jānis Osis or Eduards Kļaviņš, some border on tasteful, one almost calls to mind something from Peter Doig. It does not quite all bind together though – except through desolate nature. Meanwhile, Močuļskis’ cameo here appears to be to provide a title for the exhibition – a masculine task indeed.
