Cara militārisma drupās – PSRS norieta un kapitālistiskā darba attēli. Attēli drīzāk piederīgi kādam citam laikam – kad darba duna bija skarbāka un tās attēlošana mākslā nebija tik kompromitēta. Lai nu kā, (brīžam) utopiskā estētika sakrīt ar lokālpatriotismu – Karostā vēl kaut kas notiek!
Among the ruins of Tsarist militarism one finds images reflecting on the downfall of the USSR and of capitalist labour. The images seem to belong to another era – when the rhythm of work was harsher and its depiction in art less compromised. Either way, the (at times) utopian aesthetic matches up fairly well with local patriotism – Karosta is still alive!
