It's hard for me to connect to french. I'm straightforward and darkish. I think my way of being insults them somehow. They're all about indirect, vague, desperate to create an atmosphere of normality with extensive chatting. never asking you questions apart from ca va? For me it's a mystery how friendships are made with french. I have the feeling that my relationship with french friends is based on the moment when we hug and kiss when seeing each other and then again on that moment when we hug and kiss to say goodbye. |
