Padma Purana states:
nama cintamani krsnah caitanya rasa vigrahah purnah suddho nitya mukto abhinnatvan nama naminoh
"The holy name of Krishna is a transcendental wish fulfilling gem (cintamani), for there is no difference between Krsna's name (nama) and Krsna Himself (nami).The name of paramananda svarup Sri Krishna is the bestower of the supreme goal (param-purushartha). This name is the very form of transcendental mellows (chaitanya-rasa-svarupa). It is completely pure, eternally liberated and beyond any commection with maya (illusion)." |
