There can be no "informed consent" when the government is mandating it. Full stop. Information, trials, side effects, video tape of private negotiations.. none of it will matter. The state has immediate and explicit cohersive force.I don't have a police agency. The government does.
The ministers aren't directly answerable to me, they answer to the government.
The military does not take orders from me. There is a chain of command, and I am not a part of it.
There is no world in which the government can offer you informed medical consent at the end of any form of penalty. It's just not possible. They should have stayed out of it.
