Sure, ear is the only judge. Let me know about results, I'm just curious will it work out for you.
What I like about Apollo player is that it plays significantly more pleasant sound even with cards delivering only up to 16 bit resolution, like most of integrated soundcards do. The sound just feels more.. nice.
