Ralfs Rubenis, the main person behind this mystical name ‘Tranzīts’, is an extremely talented and absolutely amazing Latvian singer and songwriter. His songs are really special for every person who has ever listened to Tranzīts. The lyrics are of a groundbreaking quality, penetrating the deep secrets of life, namely - the divine curse of sweet love and on the counterside - the tangled theme of social and personal liberty in contrast with the daily experiences of suffocating influence of society with its demons (the song “Nepabeigtie darbi” expresses the deep fear of deadlines and the mystical overwhelming terror of time running out , which Ralfs masterfully expresses in the form of black men (it is not known for sure whether there is a racist touch to this) that come to take you away to the abbyss (check the video for further reference!)).
