the poem of twilight

down through the clouds of twilight
we fall yearning for safety
for our short eternity alone we'll walk
always longing for more
never quenching the thirst
never finding the peace
through all the new constellations
we'll speed
listening how spheres sing
we'll always feel deceit
we'll always feel lies
we'll always feel what's inside
do not go, stay for a streak
the fire's still burning
the sea is still roaring
and the twilight spreads its wings
and scatters the stars across nightsky
come, do not be afraid
the darkness is warm
and the night is soft like the dew -
it will conceal you from those prying eyes
and bring nothing but peace...
we fall yearning for safety
for our short eternity alone we'll walk
always longing for more
never quenching the thirst
never finding the peace
through all the new constellations
we'll speed
listening how spheres sing
we'll always feel deceit
we'll always feel lies
we'll always feel what's inside
do not go, stay for a streak
the fire's still burning
the sea is still roaring
and the twilight spreads its wings
and scatters the stars across nightsky
come, do not be afraid
the darkness is warm
and the night is soft like the dew -
it will conceal you from those prying eyes
and bring nothing but peace...
