Hello again our dear students from Latvia and Norway!

 

First of all, we would like to thank you for your engagement in our project so far. Your response to the two previous tasks was great, and we hope that the last topic we are going to introduce this school year will arouse your interest, too.

 

The sun shining outside  and the melting snow (at least today, in Norway) are beginning to remind us that spring and summer are not so far now. No wonder the following topic has been chosen:

 

Plans for the summer of 2010.

 

Haven`t you started to think about it yet? Well, time to do it! Maybe you will get inspired by the writings of your fellow students?

  Summer. What can be better than this season? Holidays, the sun is shining almost all the time, it is warm or even hot, you can go to the nearest river, lake or maybe even sea! Everything is so bright, you can feel the smell of flowers.. isn’t it great? Of course it is! We have so many ways how to enjoy this wonderful time of year, it all depends only of your imagination and of course the money, but if you are smart enough, you can afford to enjoy everything.
  The main reason why I can’t wait for the summer, is that I want to relax from school, all tests and homework just annoys me, it makes us nervous and you always try to be as good as it is possible. I am really tired of it all. Sleep, sun, free time, friends is all I want, at least for now, maybe in the end of summer my wishes would different, but now I want everything except school. A summer job would be nice to have but I am not sure I will get one.
  Another reason why I wait for the summer is the warm weather, I am sick of the snow and mud and now it is everywhere, it’s very disturbing. In the city you don’t feel it so much but in the country side mud is all around. I miss the grass. The beautiful green grass and the warm ground. I like hiking, so my class is planning to have one in summer. It would be very nice and it could unite us, because this is our first year together so we aren’t so united so far. And what can be better than have a good time with your classmates in free nature?
  Summer is a good way how to change your life, so you don’t live in a routine, everybody knows it’s quite boring. Everyday you can do something else, something new. I don’t have big plans or I can say any plans, this year my summer will be very spontaneous, maybe it is better because you aren’t dissapointed if any of your plans goes wrong. So I just wait what the summer has planned for me! :)
