Not about digital cinema but the best are, in no order:1. The Guerilla Film Makers Handbook by Chris Jones and Genevieve Jolliffe, good all round guide
2. Digital Film Making by Mike Figgis, he knows his stuff
3. How to Read a Film by James Monaco, a classic text on film, a must read for all film students.
4. Film Art by David Bordwell and Kristin Thompson, student classic, the shizzle
5. Alternative Scriptwriting: Writing Beyond the Rules by Ken Dancyger, this changed everything for me, if you only ever read one script book read this!!!
BONUS: Rebel without a Crew - Robert Rodriguez. Great fun to read, will not teach you much expect how to be loco.
