The Top Signs a Vampire Is Homeless
- Stands alongside the highway off-ramp, holding a sign that reads, "Will curse you with eternal life for food."
- There is nothing sadder than a coffin sitting in a cardboard box under a bridge.
- He promises you he'll only use the blood to get back on his feet again.
- You find him hanging out in the alley behind your mortuary, asking if you can put him up for a couple nights in exchange for doing odd jobs. Like, say, corpse draining.
- Last night, you caught him in the dumpster behind the hospital, sucking on gauze from the ICU trash.
- He's the only healthy, well-fed homeless person in the entire shelter. And there've been an awful lot of empty beds lately.
