    Orange

Es taisīju angļu valodas mājasdarbu, un man nebija iedvesmas, un radās Toma eseja par oranžo krāsu.

Orange is like yellow, only more reddish. It is not a coincidence, that this colour has the name “orange”. The name has to be arrived from the fruit “orange”. Or the other way, maybe the fruit was named after the colour. When I think about it, the colour could also be named “peach”.

Orange is a very nice colour, it has the spirit of warmth, welcome and friendliness. I always feel joy and happiness when I see orange coming.

In our cubicle we have surveilance system which has one LED, which is orange at times. I think it’s yellow, but my boss says it’s orange.

Also orange reminds me a setting sun. Or something.

If you walk the streets of Riga, I think, you won’t see much oranges around. I really don’t know why. Maybe because latvians are not used to oranges.

My grandmother – she has orange teeth. Did you know that the first man on the Moon – Neil Armstrong – was wearing an orange hat? Oh, me neither, maybe because he wasn’t. But it is a nice sentence about orange anyway.

My boss bought beautiful orange football shoes. Speaking of bozos, they have orange hair. McDonalds guy Ronald has orange hair too. Maybe he has orange hair because this colour attracts interest easily. In contrast to gray or similar colours..

You shouldn’t put orange colour in kitchen because it makes you gluttonous. And then you commit one of ten God’s sins. And God punish you then.

Mandarins are orange too. But bananas are yellow. Maybe because they are called “bananas”.
