"Just to be clear, the "original" Woodstock was a disaster as well. Last minute venue change. NO provision for people to get from the town to the concert site, nor were there even directions from the town to the site. Insufficient traffic control by any standard. No water or anything else available at the site. No provision for bad weather at the site. Roads blocked for miles around. No communication between the organizers and the crowd, including drug information. News media had the site overrun with rats, Route 17 being closed, and a whole lot of other stuff you never hear about because unlike most people, I REALLY WAS THERE."
