Serpent temple After Eden had been destroyed by the torches of fanatics desiring it to be an actual place (and in so justifying their absence from there) the Serpent in its infernal image created the railroad. With its once molten metals shaped into form, breathing fumes brought up from the underworld, fast spinning wheels and the display of the electromagnetic principle the train represents the eternal, revolving energies of the Cosmos available to man. Each day countless people enter its bowels and are offered the fruit of opportunity to sit back and experience the ever-present infinite reality in a tirelessly moving, roaring manifestation of the eternal, or at least learn of such diabolics from the experience of others through written word. But as naked as they enter many leave the Serpent temple neither noticing their advancing death, nor the winds of rapture howling around and through their inmost being. |
