THE LOVE THAT RUNS AWAY.
Linda Jarigina

By crossing avenues of not come true dreams
Again you are hurrying somewhere,
You try to catch summer, but, seems,
You can find it nowhere.
In labyrinths of the night cities
Between cities and even in wood
You're searching for true happiness,
That's really hiding too good.
On the dark night sky,
On the long night avenues,
Your love you can't find
And the summer isn't anywhere.
It will call you somewhere
And again will cheat,
Only, those, who love,
Won't stop to wait to meet.
Remember how you said:
"Leave me, please, don't!
We won't be together
Even if you really want."
Then, yet, why again
In this warm evening,
You can't find in any friend,
This pure feeling.
Again the evening will close the eyes
And grey tears from sky are falling.
The cool wind will knock at your door,
And will chat with you till the morning.
It will tell , that "you're not alone,
Though you're so far apart,
You're always in her heart,"
Then it will simply disappear
By giving you hope
And washing away your fear.
