I just thought about.....
Some nations all over the world are so friendly, so kind, so helpful (and so dissembling sometimes) that I've just tried to figure out where it all comes from and where does the negative side of them go? Then I knew.... as simple as.... Internet.
We've read so many impolite, offensive, rude texts, posts, comments and for some people it even seems normal to continue doing that. But now let's think, how many of the comment authors have been speaking honest in real life? Sharing their opinion and thoughts? Critics?? Not too many, how do you think?
To be able to break out of the society's cage, one has to be strong minded, confident and brave. Those who are not.... well.... they build the cage. And the fact is that most of people create the cage. And when someone tries to lift higher, they would pull him back down, because "if I can't, you can't"! Though it's hard to notice. Hiding real emotions under a smile and a helpful hand (might be for selfish reasons too), it's tricky to notice when it's real and when fake.
And yes, Internet is a great start for some and even greater end for others. It might teach us some courage to say things out loud, meanwhile it also could destroy all sense and every skill of communication and reasonable opinion sharing.
With this post I don't want people to go bananas, it is my opinion that I share in public and I could also spell it out eye to eye. If you want to prove me wrong, at least do it on a phone call or something, because to me insults in written form is a proof of ones low intellect and childish brain.
Also, notice no particular part of the world is mentioned. It's not necessary to take everything personally, even though that's what being a person is all about.
And, yes, people in Latvia are sarcastic and ironic often, so get used to it and stop thinking I am trying to offend you! Peace!
