paldies. well, Salman Rushdie actually cherished a wish to become a writer since his childhood, but his first book was crappy and with the second book he got The Booker's Prize that got later The Booker of Booker's. Of course, I don't believe that wish is enough to reach one's aim, rather it's hard work and good ideas and language.
