Protams, protams, šādas izstādes lielākoties popularizē vietu vai personu/kolekcionāru (un, jādomā, nāk ar savu finansējumu) – tā kaut kādā ziņā ir reklāma muzeja institūcijas neitrālajās telpās. Vienlaikus, nav pamata tādēļ vien tās norakstīt kā informācijas avotu – un var tapt informēts, ka te ir atskaņas no vairākiem “ģermāniskiem” lielmāksliniekiem. Vienlaikus, ir alumīnija tēlniecība mazliet kā Gļebam Panteļejevam.

From a leftist perspective, of course, this kind of show generally advertises a specific place or person (and, most likely, comes with financial incentives) – thus compromising the supposed neutrality of the hosting institution. And yet there is no reason to dismiss them as a source of information – and, one is informed of a semblance to several renowned Germanic artists. At the same time, one sees aluminum sculptures not unlike those of Gļebs Panteļejevs.

Normāla izstāde. Nedaudz nepatika it kā moralizējošais tonis par zūdošajām vērtībām (Rietumu kultūras?), bet tā ūdenī mirkstošo grāmatu fotogrāfijas ieved meditatīvā noskaņā par dabiskās un cilvēka roku veidotās vides robežām. Kā parasti - fotokatalogā redzamās fotogrāfijas izsktatās labāk, nekā tās, kas ierāmētas pie sienas (varbūt vaina tajā, kā ir jālieto ķermenis, apskatot šo vienādo materiālu divās atšķirīgās prezentācijas formās)

An avarage exhibition. Slight anthipathy towards the moralizing tone about the 'vanishing values' (of Western culture?), but nevertheless the photos showing books which are emerged in water, allows to meditate on the fragility of border between man made and 'natural' environment.
and again - photographic album leaves a better impression than the exhibited photographies (maybe it's connected with the way a spectator has to use it's body in this process)
