Two masters of music combine to produce the richest blend of electronica, nu-jazz, and world music. Setting the standard for others to follow, Robert Miles (best known for the worldwide dance hit Children) and Trilok Gurtu ("the" Indian jazz percussionist) render the potential for man-machine interplay on a deeply intuitive and profoundly musical new level. Reaching beyond the cinematic scope of David Holmes, the organic and programmed sounds of Four Tet and even the progressive structure of King Crimson, the combination of live playing and transformative technology has a depth, breadth, attention to detail and sheer vibe that makes it a special project.
