I had the longest trip to such near place ever - 12 hrs from Riga to Strasbourg!!! The Day of Delays 2010 - plane, train, train, train, taxi - everything was delayed. Instead of 7 PM arrived at 00:30. Dinner at McDonald's (and they had just run out of veggie burgers!!!). Standing! At a train station in the middle of some German town. Passport checked by some weird police men while waiting for the last train in a small ghetto-type town on the border together with drunk French homeless and drinking German teenagers. Yo-hoo! :)

The return trip did not do much in changing the flow of delays - bus to Frankfurt arrived 1,5h late, running to the gate kmeters away 20 min before the flight, finding out at the gate that the flight has been delayed, geting on the board, finding out that there is another delay, flying over Riga, another delay, circling above Riga, delayed again. Landed! Total time:9 hrs. Appearently Strasbourg is on the other side of the world.

There is one good thing in it - I got there and got back. Indeed!:)
First time eating today @ 21:00.

Decided to go through Paris next time in February. Two days in advance.

Kārtējais vakars jau iepriekš apzinātai domai - mana dzīve nes mani cauri visām iespējamajām emocijām,situācijām un notikumiem. Un es zinu, kāpēc. Un man patīk šis mācību process, man patīk es tā rezultātā. Un reizēm ir tik labi, ka mana operatīvā atmiņa nepārsniedz 2 MB :)
