The U.S. government officially has the right to track you via GPS. While that statement may sound like a conspiracy theorists dream, it is actually true in California and eight other states.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the ninth circuit recently decided that it was OK for any government/ state agent to place a GPS receiver on a vehicle without the need for a search warrant.
