I push my spine out and nestle into your crook I reach back with invisible hands to Peel back your skin and take you apart Pick at the pieces and see what makes you run I crack open the door, a single ray of light slipping out To smack you in the face And ricochet back into me. Are you ready for the realness? Prodding and probing You reach out to touch me, Expecting your fingers to sink and squish into my softness. Undaunted, I deflect you And yet you are surprised.
