[music |Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams]

Bet man vienalga.

'It is the paradox of human existance that man must simultaneously seek for closeness and for independence. [..] There is hardly any word which is more ambiguous and confusing than that word "love." It is used to denote almost every feeling short of hate and disgust. It comprises everything from the love for ice cream to love for symphony, from mild sympathy to the most intense feeling of closeness. [..] Care and responsibility are constituent elements of love, but without respect for and knowledge of the beloved person, love deteriorates into domination and possessiveness. Respect is not fear and the awe; it denotes, in accordance with the root of the word (respicere = to look at), the ability to see a person as he is, to be aware of his individuality and uniqueness.'
