Frankly, you all should have each other's passwords and text message logs any way: you're married. if there is nothing to hide, it's not a big deal to check on each other randomly.
I'm old-school, can ya tell? If people want to be 'independent', they should stay single. If they are prepared to respect their spouses and not cheat or lie, then they can be married. It's simple.
