Blast it!
How I hate those moments of truth when I realize how silly or gullible I've been!
I am proud of my naivity, of my particular original ways, of everything I am - but, blast it!, how I hate myself at those moments of truth!
Always thinking the best about people and then realizing that they could be evil - and then at once turning around and throwing the world out and closing in on everything, blast it! How I hate those moments of truth!
How I hate the truth that I can accept everything in this world except for myself.
