Kādā web projektā tiek izskatīta opcija glabāt failus/attachmentus MySQL datubāzē (vēlak domāts pāriet uz ORACLE, bet pagaidām stāsts lai paliek par MySQL). Skaidrs šobrīd ir tas, ka paša faila servēšanā, salīdzinot ar servēšanu no failsistēmas, ir performances kritums uz procentiem, teiksim, 30, bet tas būtu sūds. Jautājums ir, vai un kā šāds failu glabāšanas princips ietekmē overall datubāzes performanci? Runa, atgādināšu, ir par MySQL.
