Proactive
I was going to have my next entry be about an exercise in a book I'm reading, but I found out today that my 1st girlfriend is getting married. She's the only girlfriend I've ever really loved, and I guess it's hitting me hard. She was my first love, so I'll always love her, and because of that I almost hate her because I'll never be able to love another woman completely.But... while it's hard, I've begun trying to find the upside to everything, to become proactive and not reactive to the things in my life that hinder my actions and thoughts and feelings. Maybe when I find 'the one', I'll know because I can love her completely. Tomorrow will be a brand new day. |
