Barnes & Noble
I've been thinking that I need to get out more, meet more people. So wednesday I decided to stop by barnes & noble on the way home from work, and check out when the book clubs are happening. The sci fi book club was having their next monthly meeting this monday, and I didn't feel like having to wait a whole month to check it out, so I've been reading a 400 page book in the next few days. I don't really mind tho, it's a good book, and I like reading. Hopefully the people at the club will be normal people and not uber-nerds :PMy lil trip actually got me thinking. A book store would probably be a good place to meet chicks. Most women who like to read are pretty intelligent. And there were a good amount of cute girls at the B&N when I was there. I'm going to have to stop by there more often....I also picked up a magazine on electronic music-making. Came with a CD with 250 samples. Plus, I went online and downloaded some more samples, and I organized all that I have. I now have almost a gigabyte of samples downloaded, and that doesn't include the CD (yet). I think I should start putting them to use :) |
