It doesn't tell you how to cook crack.
I heard about This Book: Cooked: From the Streets to the Stove, from Cocaine to Foie Gras on NPR and thought of mersidotes. Its the memoir of Jeff Henderson, who used to sell drugs, went to jail, learned how to cook in the jail system, and is now an executive chef at the Bellagio! Not that Meredith could relate to the jail part, but I know she likes memoirs and cooking. I was reminded about this because the head chef from Gatsbys was just on Iron Chef, and he gave Jeff his first job out of prison.____________________________Is it possible to develop an allergy over the past week? I just ate a banana, and my throat started swelling and closing up. It was pretty scary. |
