Short Reflection I've been blessed with the greatest family and friends. This past summer and semester has let me realize this.. so many things have happened.. both good and bad. Probably one of the best friendships I was able to make this year has been with Carmen. We survived a summer together in middle of nowhere Pennsylvania and are now back at UB. We've been in some predicaments, but have had fun through them all. Thanks for all the times you helped to pick me up out of the snow, ohhhhh boy!! ps. Phill is just as awesome, too!! Another wonderful friend I made this summer was with Teresa; I only wish we were closer in distance to one another. I know we haven't been able to talk that much through out the semester, because of our busy schedules, but I definitely plan on visiting her sometime soon. Then there are my Flint roomies. Kim has always been my best friend and it was hard at first this semester adjusting to the apartment and all, but she knows everything about me and I love her!! She's my second mom, thank you for always being there for me. Lauren and I have most definitely gotten closer. She and I live on the same side of the apartment and I love that. We share a bathroom and there is something sentimental about it. Next year we're moving apartments and we'll have our own bathrooms and we're both quite sad about that, hahaha. We won't have our sinks next to one another, tear!! Julie!! She is the new roommate this year and my going out roomie!! We've been able to bond a lot even with pledging. We're both the single roomies, but we're not complaining. We've had our share of fun times with wine and drunken nights stumbling home.. well, after we got our shoes unstuck from the ground, hahahaha.. memories. And Jewelz, know I'll always be there for you, whenever you need me. Then of course there are my pledge sisters, the Alpha Iotas: Rachele, Reb, Kristen, Diane and Stacey. I love these girls with everything. Through all the tears, fights, and laughter we've become extremely close. I would do anything for these girls. We've all had our share of memories with one another. Let's see.. lately these come to mind: Kristen and Stacey, our fun night after our meeting.. too bad we didn't get to super troopers, hehehe. Diane: Sig Ep date party, even though you disappeared half way through the night, ahaha, I wanna see those pictures!! Reb: of course going out, but just our talks and meeting in the union, it's so nice to just be able and chill out with you, thanks!! Rachele: Everything.. you're a great friend and you are always there to listen to me and vice versa. Let's see.. the Sig Ep dinner and everything that included.. target, wegmans, cookies, freezer, Hannakuh and Kwanza, darts, friendship puking, drunken Rachele and her car, sleepovers, I could go on and on!! OK, finally there are my two bestest friends, Amanda and Jen. Jen, we haven't seen a lot of each other lately, but you know I love you and am always here for you.. I wanna go ice skating J-Ho!! Amanda, you are amazing. I never imagined I could have a friend like you. Sooooooo many memories, I love you.On to my family, briefly. Every family is dysfunctional and mine deifnitely is, but I love every single one of them. I have learned to appreciate them a lot more as I've gotten older. I wish I had more time to spend with my aunts and uncles, though. For Christmas I went over to my Uncle's and everyone was there minus my grandparents who are living the good life in Florida as Tori puts it. It is such a fun time. We're so comfortable around one another and no joke, probably about 85% of the time we spend together it's spent laughing. I love it. They are the greatest people to be around. That includes my grandparents.. my Papa makes me laugh the most.. he's such a funny easy-going guy. Anyways, that's enough of my babbling.. I gotta get to bed, so I can get up and go to the dentist tomar, lovely, lovely!!! |
