The Copenhagen Post: "[..] there were three main groups of wrong-way drivers. The largest group were drivers who were under the influence of alcohol, drugs
and medicine, or were extremely tired. The second-largest group were elderly or senile drivers. Following them were
drivers who turned back upon finding that the highway was blocked further
along. Other groups included people attempting suicide, and young men who
purposefully drive in the opposite direction as a test of manhood".
